Arm Lift or Brachioplasty

The arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, reduces excess skin and fat between the armpit and elbow. It reshapes the arm leaving the skin smoother and with smooth contours.

Fluctuations in weight, aging, and hereditary factors can lead to flaccid arms. Exercise can strengthen and improve muscle tone, but it does not treat excess skin that has lost elasticity, underlying weakened tissues, and localized fat.

The scar is usually positioned in the inner portion of the arms. The arm lift is indicated for patients with significant sagging skin in this area. It is important that the patient is with the relatively stable weight and is not overweight.
