Skin Tumors

Skin tumors may be either benign and malignant. Among the benign tumors are several types: nevi, syringomas, keloids, lipomas, cysts, leiomyomas, neuromas, hemangiomas, and others. Among the malignant lesions, the most common tumors are: basocellular carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and melanoma . Not all skin lesions need surgical removal. After evaluation by a qualified physician, it will be discussed with the patient possible treatments ranging from simple periodic monitoring, non-surgical treatments, and surgical procedures. Surgical treatment consists of partial or total removal of the skin lesions ( benign or malignant ).  We will also seek the best aesthetic and functional result possible.
